Goodbye to my companion;
You've been a worthy friend.
Sniffle up my novel ramblings
The journey is over.
Chase words and catch them with your onyx whip.
The time has come to take your final trip.
Close the book and press the pages,
Make the marks and clear the stages,
This was our last mission.
I don't know what to say;
I must have lost a day,
There goes our last mission.
So long to my companion;
You've been a valiant friend.
Shuffle off your mortal coil
This passage is over.
Time stopped when you gave up your final breath.
My page was filled at the cost of your death.

Stars above the stadium,
Cascading through the roof;
A one-man show performs his stunt,
And this is what he saw:
Tiers surround a lonesome stage,
The sound begins to fade.
Scaffolding supports the arch
That keeps the night contained.
Performance of the orchestra,
Depiction of the world,
And he's falling in love,
Listening to music as the crowd comes crashing.
Moon above the monument
Illuminates the room;
A one-man show performs his trade,
And this is what he saw:
The pit below is still tonight,
The spotlights' empty glow,
The mics stand sentinel before
The solitary show.

The lunar tide is pulling me;
The future has been sworn.
The extra-mental symphony
Is playing up a storm.
A special person told me
The future will be bad.
A falling block of masonry,
A teetering collapse.
Say hello, my best friend;
I can't stay for the night.
A countdown to a conflict,
The moment of the fight.
An argument until the dawn,
A well-done masquerade.
An anarchy of silence
Will the victor stand afraid?
The scarlet wind is pushing me;
The underground dissolves.
The frightening periphery
Draws closer to us all.

Tonight I sit alone;
I pointlessly recheck my phone.
The world has gone to bed,
But I think it's more likely dead.
I stand up and stretch my neck,
And then I walk onto the deck.
I look up at all the stars,
And count them through the fence's bars.
The night is still and cool,
As I watch the surface of the pool.
My eyes are closed so long
As I listen to the crickets' song.
I walk into the grass
And watch a falling star go past.
I return with a sigh
And slowly make my way inside.
I walk over to the kitchen sink
And desperately try to think.
I grab a glass from the shelf
And try to think of something el

Change my shirt,
Grab my hat
And open the door.
It's still raining outside;
I walk out without saying goodbye.
I walk past
The pet shop;
I walk fast.
I see my friends on the opposite end
Of the street, and I walk by
Like I don't care.
I jump a puddle,
I walk to a window,
I look inside,
I look away.
It's kind of dry where I stand;
I breathe and try to warm my hands.
I walk past
The stoplight;
I walk fast.
I see my friends in the back of my mind
And I walk and I smile like everything's fine.
I wait for a train,
I let it go by,
I take a deep breath,
Step over the tracks.

I can't stop the feeling that
The bridge I'm on
Will shortly disappear.
I take the right road here.
This is my drive, this is my dare.
Go along now,
Born aware.
I see the world in thought
When she's standing there.
Tell me more please.
This is my time.
When it all comes down,
Floating in the skies above,
The restless and assured will give
Up what they came to know.
And in the end,
All will be forgiven
When promises illuminate
And I can be sure of you.

Lights out,
Night's out,
We're giving up the ghost;
The countdown has started
And I propose a toast.
To champagne, to summer rain,
To good friends, to dead ends,
To the atom bomb,
To the ones we love,
To the fall of industry.
One last drink,
It couldn't hurt;
One more joke,
Our names are dirt!
The world moves on
Without us
And we don't care at all.

Tall and proud,
Return to our

The summer hasn't passed us,
But time can still be cruel.
Perhaps I'll take another day
And waste it all with you.
We can say goodbye
To all of our concerns,
And watch as they're washed away.
The morning isn't old yet;
A pond is cool and clear.
The grass is lying in the sun;
I wish I could be there.
We can say goodbye
And then resume the day
We both wish our labors would be done.
The afternoon's expanding;
The sky has quickly bloomed.
The oddly empty country
Sits in solitary gloom.
We said goodbye
Before we even met,
And now there's nothing left to wonder.

I'm a white lie
Told to your face;
Make you feel bad
And put you in your proper place.
Now you know it all for sure.
I'm a mirror
Of your diffidence;
Make a shadow
And swallow up your innocence.
Now you know it all for sure.
I'm a story
Of a free-fall;
Make you run
Away from home and never call.
You're not alone;
I'll be there,
Anywhere you ever go.
Fall, dance, fall, dance,
All will become clear in time.
Look at me and get excited,
Go ahead and ask me about it.
Fall, dance, fall, dance,
All will become clear in time.
Look ahead and get excited,
Wait for someone to tear it down.

Can I take you to a show?
Can I help your garden grow?
Maybe we should fool around
And never find our pot of gold.
Can I just touch your hair?
Can I use your comfy chair?
I have a crush on you
But I can keep you unaware.
I know you say that you don't have a soul,
But you're so cool, and I just have to know.
This is a dawning,
This is a calling,
This is enthralling,
What did I do to you?
Nothing seems wrong, and
All things go on, and
These days are long, and
What did I do to you?
Can I step into your shoes?
Can I take a look at you?
Maybe you can show me something
Different from what I'd assume.

The Earth beneath me sits,
Waiting for the Sun and the Moon to have tea again.
The Sky above me is still,
watching,
Waiting for Romeo and Juliet to meet once again.

Whispering thoughts of her lost love,
Silence.
The Rain above me pours,
Weeping for the absence of her brother,

The Storms around me rage on,

The Sun rises around me.
Gloriously,
Showing his good side to Juliet.
The Moon falls with starry adornment,
Showing of her jewelry for Romeo.
The Seasons change around me,
Silently.

Aesthetic
You appreciate art, beauty, and design; you know that they are not superficial but absolutely crucial to living the good life. You have good taste, and you're proud of it. Those with a high score on the "aesthetic" trait are often employed in literary or artistic professions, enjoy domestic activities — doing things around the house — and are enthusiastic about the arts, reading, and travel. You don't think it's pretentious to be moved by art and beauty. You're not one of those who believe it doesn't matter what something looks like as long as it does its job.
